Explore Laguna Beach

After we spent our day in Beverly Hills, we decided to go to Laguna Beach and spend the night there.  I was excited to show Marilin the California lifestyle with it surf and sand especially in the summer where the weather is a perfection.

This is our hotel that I booked last night from Hotel Tonight app. The app allows you to do last minute booking with great price. After debating to pick which hotel is nice but also close to the beach we finally made our choice. The Tides is located 3 blocks north of Main Beach in beautiful downtown Laguna. We are able to enjoy our cove beaches, numerous art galleries, great shopping, fine dining, and Laguna’s special eclectic charm – all on foot. The interesting part is they have a salt water pool, outdoor BBQ and fireplace, also free parking.

Morning in Laguna

Early in the morning we planned to go to the beach. We stopped by at Urth Caffe and ordered their new recipe of matcha + espresso + dark chocolate + boba as our ‘breakfast’. Early in the morning is a perfect time because no one was around so we got a chance to enjoy the beach and took some pictures.

The Deck

The Deck on Laguna Beach is located along Sleepy Hollow Lane, just steps from Main Beach, savor the freshest oysters and small bites at of one of the most popular restaurants in Laguna Beach, CA nestled along the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Marilin is vegan and I want to be healthy as well, so we ordered Quinoa Salad with avocado, grilled sweet corn, heirloom tomatoes, feta cheese, and lim-mint vinaigrette. Marilin ordered without cheese and I added grilled salmon.
