Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach, California

I lift my face into the sun and closed my eyes. Minimize every noise in the background into my ears. I can feel the glow from California Sun. Upon the hills looking towards Newport Beach. Feeling its breeze blow away my cares. Breathe in and breathe out. Is this what they call as California Dreaming?

I remember that I said me and Tyler we were going to relax after the camp in Catalina. Apparently, weekend adventure plans always keep going on and on. Last week we went to Malibu with my friend from Estonia and this weekend Tyler's UCI MBA friends were throwing a pool party in Corona Del Mar, tomorrow we are going to watch Hamilton Play, and next weekend we are going to have a wine tasting in Temecula. It's nice how if you take 2 days doing some type of adventure on the weekend then school/work on the weekdays feels like a good balance (doesn't apply to everyone but those who likes to be active).

Tyler and I were made a video again as always. It's funny how I always record and edit videos for my own memory or to show my family and on the other hand, Tyler was just playing around and practicing his drone since he has to deal with real estate. Then we started to combine our skills to create a memory for us and people. The very first video we made was on our first official adventure to Mammoth Lakes back at the beginning of April.

The theme of the pool party is Hawaiian, even though is not necessary to provide Hawaiian foods, the aesthetic and decorations are pretty much enough. They provided Tropical Flower hair clip and lei as well - so cute. There were so many yummy snacks on the table, I always go for sweet stuff so fruits and chocolate definitely my favorite. After that, we were served with some tacos for lunch while enjoying the view all over the city of Corona Del Mar to Newport Beach.

After had our yummy lunch, since the weather was pretty breezy and for me, it was a bit cold, we jumped into the hot tub. Some people were in the pool as well but I rather not. The day went on with chatting or socializing over a drink or two as you can always expect from a typical American party.

The sunset was breathtaking. I couldn't say any word. My eyes were on distance stretching beyond the horizon as the tranquil ocean breeze blowing. Beautiful hues of pink and astonishing shades of orange created a gold reflection over the Pacific.

People were started to leave except those who decided to stay. I watched the sky turning into the dark while listening to the sound of an outdoor fireplace with comforting Indian hot tea. It made me relax and heart was filled with joy. I'm very grateful.
