Places to See and Experience Fall in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA, USA
I never feel very stocked for Fall season until this year where I can begin to truly experience it. From the West LA to San Bernadino, here are 5 spots where you can actually see fall in LA or simply celebrate the season. I write this based in my own experience, therefore the places might be limited.

1. Oak Glen, Yucaipa, CA

Fall takes celebrity status in Oak Glen where the mile-high climate lends itself nicely to the brightly colored black walnut and oak trees found during autumn months. Snuggled in the heart of apple country, Oak Glen is worth the 1.5-hour drive from Los Angeles to get a taste of fall and not just for the leaves. See why we love this destination for apple picking, fresh-pressed cider, and other quintessential fall favorites. If you come here in Fall to go apple picking at the orchards, you’ll know just how incredible it is this time of year. In fact, it’s probably one of the best ways to experience fall—you can wander through the orchards under the leaves picking a few apples, then finish off the day with a cider before you head back to LA.

2. Huntington Garden, Pasadena, CA

Be sure to check out the library, but it’s the gardens here that are truly amazing. There are 12 in total with over 15,000 plant varieties—from a Chinese garden to a lily pond to a subtropical garden. Even though the plants are variant, I was still very excited to enjoy Fall in several corners of the garden.

Malibu Wine Safari

32111 Mulholland Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265, USA

Set on 1000 acres high up in the Malibu mountains, there is a magical place where you can pet animals and then get the best taste on wine grown from grapes right on the property. Words can't describe just how much I loved and grateful for this whole experience. On Thursday afternoon, I went to this place with a bunch of LA bloggers.

There is an office is like a small wooden house and inside is decorated as if we were in the "wild west". The lady at the desk was so nice, easy going and fun to talk to.  We signed in, were given wristbands that matched our truck.  There is a small gift shop inside with snacks and cute giraffe hats.  Then we loaded on the van and began the tour with pretty friendly tour guides.

The safari jeep seat three in a row. The driver and the lady who supposed to guide us gave us a really fun ride and drive like and felt like we are really on an adventure out in the wild. While you explore, it really seems like you're in a very rich area with beautiful grass, trees, ponds, animals, and houses. People also have their weddings here, so if anyone is thinking about getting hitched soon, you should go check it out! It's beautiful!

LA Skyspace Date Night

633 W 5th St #840, Los Angeles, CA 90071, USA

It's February in LA LA Land, sunny and clear but too cold for this tropical girl. However, I will never get tired of the city views. Los Angeles is full of so much history. It is a popular destination for tourists who are searching for unique opportunities. So when people want to get away from the hustle and bustle of their busy commutes, they should think outside of the box and consider something different.
